Myriam's songs deserve attention. Opening was lovingly recorded over years in a backyard shed where we drank and tried to figure out how to live. Every sound is haunted and right where it needs to be. drowse
Kelp speaks to me. Sad and experimental like Drowse. Musical freedom. I teared up during the chorus of "Falter" while watching them play last week: "you are changed." drowse
This album is amazingly dynamic! I love the singer's unique voice. The songs go in unexpected directions but never lose my attention. There are pretty moments and driving punk moments. It's heavy, somber, aching and beautiful. mollygrowler
